St. Gabriel Parish Festival continues today on the cathedral grounds, 900 Geiger St., Neenah. Family Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. will feature carnival rides, $10 all-you-can-ride all day; bake sale, country store, saddle bag, kids' games, Darboy Club-catered chicken dinner, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Manderfield's cream puffs, paddlewheel, exist music by Cookie, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; First Valley Idol Competition, 2 p.m.; and a cash raffle to be drawn at 5 p.m. For raffle tickets, call St. Gabriel Parish office, 920-722-4914.
Good Shepherd Parish, Chilton, at hand Huhner Fest (German Fest) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Charles burg site, four miles south of Chilton. Events include an outdoor polka mass at 10 a.m., grill chicken dinner, starting at 11 a.m., the Jerry Schneider Band, noon to 3 p.m.; bingo, 1 to 4 p.m.; DJ Crazy Train, 4 to 7 p.m.; children's games, a silent auction, Rowland's German beer, German brats, old world fudge, ice cream floats, games and prizes.
