Pistachio Icecream

Pistachio icecream is made up of pistachio nuts. Pistachio icecream is the flavor of gelato and sorbet. It is green in colour and it is one of the layers in spumoni icecream.

Making of Pistachio Icecream

• Unsalted pistachios (1 cup)
• Sugar (3/4 cup)
• Milk (2 cups)
• Almond extract (1/2 cup)
• Eggs (4-5)
• Cream (1 cup)
• Pistachios, toasted, coarsely chopped(3/4 cup)


• Grind the pistachios and sugar nicely.
• In a pan boil the milk and round pistachio mixture then remove from heat.
• Mix the almond extract.
• Shake the eggs and half cup of sugar in a bowl and slightly shake the hot milk mixture.
• Bring the custard to the saucepan and cook it well until it gets thicken.
• Chill the mixture for 2 hours.
• Add cream and pistachios into the custard and then transfer it to the icecream maker.
• Transfer it to the container and then freeze it.
• And finally your pistachios icecream gets ready and now you can eat and enjoy.
